CN2 GIA (Global Internet Access) is China Telecom’s premium international network, running on AS4809 with reserved capacity. Unlike the ordinary 163 backbone (AS4134) that most cheap transit rides on, GIA traffic keeps low latency and minimal loss even during the evening rush.
163 (AS4134) is the default and the first to congest. CN2 GT mixes premium and ordinary hops — better, but still shared. CN2 GIA is end-to-end premium: your packets stay on AS4809 from the mainland to our rack. That is the route KVMB builds on.
